Eh, so a few people don't really understand why I take this reviewing thing so seriously. In all honesty this is more of a training ground for me since I hope to pick up a hobby of honestly reviewing things someday. So no I don't take THIS as serious as you might think I do, but I keep an attitude of seriousness for later times. So if you think I put a bit too much effort into my reviews then your right, but eh it's fun for me.

Well I've marked my fourth ten of my entire reviewing career here. The lucky recipient was There She is Ep 4. This was an amazing masterpiece that had met all my requirements for a great flash. The concept is and always has been original. The arts-style is very pleasing to the eye and despite this animation having a slightly lower framerate then at certain points, it seems to be at the authors intention. This is a great piece of work and should be shown to all who like actual art. I know appreciators of that are very few and far in between here, instead being occupied by immature dirt bags who spend half their day fapping and the other have satisfying their fetish for blood, swearing, and tits. For those who do appreciate good art though, I highly suggest this piece of work.

The most important is to call everyone who doesn't believe or like what you like a sheep.
Insulting someone's age on a regular basis due to one or two mistakes.
Disliking something that you actually did like simply to create tension.
Working at making the most disgusting, revolting piece of work and bashing people who dislike it as "close minded."
Never admitting defeat for your horrible piece of garbage, but instead blaming everyone else lack of artistic taste.

That's just a few, I'll add more later.

Well I've been seeing a pattern in the sense that. Whenever I give something that has gotten ten across the board an eight or even a nine. That suddenly makes my review useless? Well I would like to go and formally invite you to a stick up the ass. I save ten for perfect or near perfection. Newgrouds has been known for its diamonds in the rough and not overall gold across the board. So don't act surprised when you realize that I've only given 3 things a 10 in my entire reviewing..Um..Time...So yeah. Oh and now I also realize that people here tend to have the maturity level of a five year old on a wholesome Counterstrike diet, could you at least get creative when you call me a faggot? shithead? so on and so fourth? Comon now put some of that third grader education to work!

I thought it would be time that I gave a detailed definition of what I view as a good flash.
I will start with the shallow points because even the thickest of thick could relate with me on this one.
First off the drawing and not just in the skill, but in the style. I do realize that a jackpot drawing style is bound to repeat itself over and over, but for those who can muster the courage to put together a unique drawing style that is actually good, that's impressive. People who do that get extra points in my book then those who simply copy a popular style. I am not saying that those who copy cannot get a perfect score it is just harder to do so.
Next is the animation, in terms of flow. There are many ways to have animation flow, Usually people who aren't focusing too much on the animation with go with a blur for movement between poses. Those who are familiar with Foamy and and Brackenwood (Though they only do it with fast movements) know what I'm talking about. The other one of course is the animation of every single individual movement, while this takes more skill it can sometimes lead to the animation being clunky if the animator does not put enough effort into each individual frame.
Now going into the nuts and bolt. Immersion. If the cartoon is meant to draw you into a new and unusual universe, or just a paradox of our own reality, the ability to entice is always present. Something that can truly draw you in and interest you further in the author's creation past the flash is something that will get incredibly high points from me.
Next is creativity, and this can branch off into so many mutations such as drawing style, animation, atmosphere, story, or voice acting. Simply the ability to be unique while still drawing in fans is a skill that few have been able to master.
Last and not least in a mutation of immersion and that is the ability for you to be drawn into the focal point of the animation. Whether it be drama, humor, tragedy, or various other emotions if they make you emotionally bend to their will they have done the job right.
